  • 1 box strawberry cake mix 15.25 oz
  • 4 large eggs
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • For the Icing:
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk whole milk recommended
  • 1 tsp strawberry extract
  • A few drops of red food coloring optional, for a vibrant pink glaze

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prep the Oven & Pan
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
  • Step 2: Make the Batter
  • In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, softened cream cheese, eggs, and vegetable oil.
  • Mix until smooth and fully incorporated.
  • Step 3: Create the Cinnamon Swirl
  • In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon together.
  • Step 4: Assemble the Cake
  • Pour half of the cake batter into the greased baking dish.
  • Evenly sprinkle the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture over the batter.
  • Pour the remaining cake batter over the cinnamon layer, spreading gently.
  • Step 5: Bake the Cake
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
