Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 256g whole milk cottage cheese (4% milkfat, high protein)
  • Optional Seasonings:
  • Everything bagel seasoning no salt
  • Chili powder for a spicy kick
  • Garlic & onion powder
  • Shredded parmesan or cheddar cheese
  • Dried herbs rosemary, thyme, or chives

Instructions
 

  • 🔥 Step 1: Preheat the Oven
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (use a high-quality brand to prevent sticking).
  • 🥄 Step 2: Scoop & Flatten
  • Use a 1-tablespoon scoop to drop small portions of cottage cheese onto the baking sheet.
  • Space them 2 inches apart to prevent sticking.
  • Use the back of a spoon to flatten each scoop into thin circles (about 3/16 to 1/4 inch thick).
  • 🌿 Step 3: Add Seasonings (Optional)
  • Sprinkle your favorite seasonings before baking for extra flavor.
  • ⏳ Step 4: Bake Until Crispy
  • Bake for 40-50 minutes or until edges turn dark brown and centers turn golden brown.
  • The darker the chips, the crunchier they will be.
  • Start checking at 20 minutes to prevent burning.
  • ❄️ Step 5: Cool & Enjoy
  • Let chips cool completely (about 20-30 minutes) before eating.
  • They will firm up more as they cool.
  • 💡 Storage Tip: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for a few hours. If they soften, reheat in the oven at 350°F (177°C) for 5-7 minutes.

Notes

Use high-protein cottage cheese (at least 14g protein per ½ cup) for extra crunch.
Don’t use fat-free cottage cheese—it has too much moisture and won’t crisp up.
For air fryer version: Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 20-30 minutes, checking frequently.
If chips aren’t crispy enough, bake longer (but watch closely to prevent burning!).
