  • 1 box Yellow Cake Mix Gluten-free cake mix can be used.
  • 2 large Eggs Or use applesauce or flax eggs for vegan option.
  • 4 medium Overripe Bananas Very ripe for best sweetness and moisture.

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Or use nutmeg.
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Optional for added sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Nuts Walnuts or pecans for crunch.

How to Make 3 Ingredient Banana Bread

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mash 4 overripe bananas in a medium bowl until smooth.
  • Combine 2 eggs with the mashed bananas in a separate bowl until just mixed.
  • Mix the banana-egg mixture with 1 box of yellow cake mix (and optional cinnamon) until just combined.
  • Divide the batter into two buttered small loaf pans.
  • Bake for about 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Notes

Store in an airtight container. Optional: sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
