For the Salmon

  • 12 oz Salmon Fillet Skin-on preferred for moisture retention.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley (chopped) Optional garnish for color and freshness.

How to Make Baked Bourbon Glazed Salmon

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together water, brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, and bourbon until the sugar dissolves.
  • Mix in the minced garlic, ginger, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to blend all the flavors.
  • Place salmon skin-side down in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over it, cover, and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Strain the marinade into a saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat, then simmer for 4-5 minutes until thickened.
  • Place marinated salmon on the prepared baking sheet and brush with some of the reduced glaze. Bake for 8-11 minutes.
  • Allow salmon to rest for 2 minutes after baking. Serve drizzled with the remaining glaze and garnish with parsley.
