For the Salmon

  • 4 fillets Salmon skin-on preferred
  • 1 whole Lemon juice and zest
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste

For the Marinade

  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil extra virgin recommended
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme

For the Asparagus

  • 1 bunch Asparagus choose similar thickness

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Prepare the marinade by whisking together lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, dried parsley, dried thyme, olive oil, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  • Trim the asparagus by snapping off the woody ends and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Pour two-thirds of the marinade over the fillets.
  • Arrange the asparagus on the same baking sheet. Drizzle them with the remaining marinade and gently toss.
  • Bake for 12-13 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and the asparagus is tender.
  • Rest for 2 minutes before serving. Plate and enjoy warm, drizzled with the pan juices.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with fresh lemon slices or additional herbs for a vibrant presentation. For best texture, consume leftovers within 24 hours.
