  • 1 whole Orange Well washed for zest

How to Make Cranberry Relish

  • Begin by zesting the orange, saving the zest for later. Cut the orange into wedges and discard any seeds.
  • Take your fresh cranberries and rinse them under cold water. Discard any soft or discolored berries.
  • In a food processor, add the rinsed cranberries, orange wedges (skin included), sugar, and reserved orange zest.
  • Pulse the mixture to chop and blend to a slightly chunky yet smooth texture.
  • Taste your cranberry relish and adjust the sweetness with additional sugar if desired.
  • Transfer the relish to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

This relish improves in flavor over time; prepare it up to three days in advance for best taste.
