Ingredients
  

  • **For the Chicken**
  • - 1 lb boneless chicken breasts
  • - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • - ½ tsp garlic powder
  • - Salt and pepper
  • - 2 tbsp olive oil
  • **For the Sauce**
  • - 2 tbsp butter
  • - 2 garlic cloves minced
  • - 2 cups heavy cream
  • - 1¼ cups Parmesan grated
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • **For the Pasta**
  • - 10 oz fettuccine
  • - 1 tsp salt for boiling water
  • **Optional Garnish**
  • - Fresh parsley
  • - Extra Parmesan

Instructions
 

  • Slice and season chicken.
  • Cook in skillet until golden and fully done. Set aside.
  • Boil pasta until al dente. Drain, saving ½ cup water.
  • In same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic.
  • Add cream and bring to gentle simmer.
  • Stir in cheese until smooth. Season to taste.
  • Slice chicken. Toss pasta with sauce. Serve topped with chicken and garnish.

Notes

- Swap cream with half-and-half for a lighter version
- Add broccoli, spinach, or mushrooms for extra nutrition
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce
