- 4 large ripe peaches halved and pitted
- 3 tbsp butter softened or melted
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of ground nutmeg optional
- Pinch of ground cloves optional
- Pinch of salt
- Vanilla ice cream for serving (optional but recommended)
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Halve peaches and remove pits. Place cut-side up in dish.
In a bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt into a thick paste.
Spoon mixture into peach centers, spreading slightly.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, until peaches are soft and syrup is bubbling.
Cool for 5 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
