Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Wooden spoon or silicone spatula
  • - Zester (for orange)

Ingredients

  • - 4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • - ½ cup maple syrup

  • - 1 tsp orange zest
  • - Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine cranberries, maple syrup, water, orange zest, and salt.
  • Bring to a simmer, stirring often.
  • As cranberries burst, reduce heat to low. Cook for 15–20 minutes until thickened.
