Creamy Cajun Chicken Penne Pasta

A bold and creamy Cajun pasta recipe featuring tender chicken, rich sauce, and penne. A quick, one-pan dinner with restaurant-quality flavor in 30 minutes.

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • - Pasta pot
  • - Knife & cutting board
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • - Colander

Ingredients
  

  • - 8 oz penne pasta
  • - 1 lb chicken breast sliced
  • - 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • - 1 tbsp olive oil
  • - 2 cups heavy cream
  • - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • - 1 clove garlic minced
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Boil penne until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in skillet. Add chicken and cook until golden (6–8 minutes).
  • Stir in garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Add pasta and Parmesan. Stir until everything is creamy and well combined.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

- Store leftovers up to 3 days in the fridge
- Add chicken broth to loosen sauce when reheating
- Great with sautéed veggies or extra cheese
