Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 240g full-fat cottage cheese
  • Optional seasonings choose one or mix:
  • Spicy: smoked paprika chili powder, cayenne
  • Garlic & Herb: garlic powder onion powder, dried herbs
  • Classic: salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Oven Method (Best for Extra Crunch):
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray with oil.
  • Drain excess liquid from the cottage cheese. If using seasonings, mix them in at this stage.
  • Using a spoon, scoop small portions of cottage cheese onto the baking sheet and flatten them into thin, round circles (about 0.2 inches/0.5 cm thick), leaving space between each.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  • Allow the chips to cool on the baking sheet for 10–15 minutes to crisp up further.
  • Microwave Method (Fast & Easy):
  • Scoop and flatten the cottage cheese onto a microwave-safe plate lined with parchment paper.
  • Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  • Let cool for 10–15 minutes to firm up the chips.

Notes

Always use full-fat cottage cheese for optimal crispiness.
Draining excess liquid is key to avoiding a chewy texture.
Adjust seasonings to taste—cottage cheese has a natural saltiness that might reduce the need for extra salt.
For alternative cooking, an air fryer (preheat to 325°F/160°C, cook for 8–10 minutes) can also produce excellent results.
Store leftovers in an airtight container with parchment paper between layers to keep them crunchy.
