How to Make Eggnog Fudge

  • Sift powdered sugar into a bowl and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine softened butter, eggnog, vanilla extract, and rum extract. Stir gently until melted, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in sifted powdered sugar, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg. Mix vigorously for 2-3 minutes until silky and smooth.
  • Pour the creamy mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly to achieve about a ½ inch thickness.
  • Let it set at room temperature for 15-20 minutes, then check for firmness.
  • Once firm, cut into 1-inch squares and store in an airtight container.

Notes

Optional: Add a sprinkle of extra nutmeg or cinnamon on top for garnish. Always sift powdered sugar to ensure smooth fudge.
