How to Make Smooth White Chocolate Truffles

  • Combine white chocolate chips and chopped white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  • Stir in the room-temperature heavy cream and vanilla extract, mixing until glossy. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until firm enough to scoop.
  • Use a scoop or your hands to portion the ganache into 1-inch balls. Place on a lined tray and return to the fridge if they soften.
  • Melt the remaining chopped white chocolate in another microwave-safe bowl using the same method. Cool slightly before dipping the truffles.
  • Submerge each truffle into the melted white chocolate, tapping off excess. Add toppings immediately.
  • Let the dipped truffles set at room temperature for 30-45 minutes. Optionally drizzle half-melted chocolate over them before serving.
