How to Make Banana Bread Baked Oatmeal

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Prepare an 8x8 inch baking pan by greasing it with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl using a fork until they are smooth and creamy.
  • Combine the wet ingredients: add brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk to the mashed bananas. Stir until fully mixed.
  • Mix the dry ingredients in another bowl: old-fashioned oats, ground flaxseed, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
  • Combine the wet and dry mixtures by gradually adding the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and the center is firm.
