  • 3 cloves garlic Fresh, minced.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Use vegetable broth as a substitute.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For creamy texture.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Adds nutty flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Brightens flavor.

For Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon paprika Infuses smoky flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes Adjust for spice preference.

For Garnish

  • 2 tablespoons parsley Fresh, chopped.

  • Cook the rice according to the package directions, usually around 18-20 minutes. Fluff and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.
  • Add shrimp, seasoning with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes. Sear for 1-2 minutes each side.
  • Remove shrimp and set aside. In the same skillet, melt more butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
  • Optional: Whisk in flour for a thicker sauce, cooking for 30 seconds.
  • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Return shrimp to skillet and toss to coat in sauce, heating through for 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve over warm rice and garnish with parsley and a squeeze of lemon.
