Instructions

  • Hard Boil the Eggs: Place large eggs in a pot, cover them with cold water, and bring it to a boil. Then, turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let them sit for 10-12 minutes.
  • Ice Bath: Carefully transfer the eggs to an ice water bath for 14 minutes to ensure they cool completely, making peeling easier.
  • Peel Eggs: Gently crack and peel the eggs, ideally under cool running water to help remove the shells without damaging the whites.
  • Prepare Filling: Slice the peeled eggs in half lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a bowl. Combine yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, vinegar, and optional hot sauce, then mash until creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Fill Egg Whites: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the hollowed egg white halves. Make them look as beautiful as they taste!
  • Garnish and Serve: Lightly sprinkle paprika over the filled eggs, and finish with fresh chives or dill for an appealing touch. Serve chilled or at room temperature!

Notes

Optionally, add a bit of curry powder to the filling for a zesty twist. Use older eggs for easier peeling and a smoother appearance.
