How to Make Edible Cookie Dough

  • Begin by microwaving your all-purpose flour in a safe bowl for 45 seconds to 1 minute. Stir every 15 seconds until it reaches 160°F.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend softened unsalted butter with light brown sugar and kosher salt using a handheld mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Add heavy cream and pure vanilla extract to the creamed mixture, blending until smooth. Gradually incorporate the heat-treated flour, mixing until free of lumps.
  • Gently stir in the mini chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Refrigerate the dough for at least 2 hours to enhance texture and flavor.
