Ingredients
  

For the Caps

  • 12 pieces mini Reese's peanut butter cups top side down on baking sheet
  • 12 pieces Ghirardelli chocolate squares rich flavor enhances each treat

For the Decoration

  • 1/2 cup mini M&M's for tassels
  • 1 cup vanilla frosting store-bought can be used
  • 1 tbsp food coloring to match school colors

How to Make Chocolate Graduation Caps Treats

  • Place each peanut butter cup top side down on a wax paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Use a few drops of your choice of food coloring to tint the vanilla frosting.
  • Pipe a dab of frosting in the center of each peanut butter cup.
  • Place a chocolate square on top of each peanut butter cup and gently press down.
  • Pipe a tassel on top of each chocolate square using the frosting.
  • Place a mini M&M on top of each tassel.
  • Allow the treats to set in the fridge for about 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For a festive flair, garnish with edible glitter. Ensure peanut butter cups are at room temperature for best results.
