  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Dill finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons Ghee can substitute clarified butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 whole Lemon zest and juice
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon White Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley finely chopped

  • 4 fillets Wild Salmon skin-on or skinless

How to Make Herb Baked Salmon

  • Start by mincing the garlic and finely chopping the dill and parsley. For an extra zing, zest and juice the lemon, ensuring all flavors burst through.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, bring together ghee, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, white pepper, dill, and parsley. Heat for 30-45 seconds until melted and warm, then stir well to combine all the flavors.
  • Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) to create the perfect baking environment for your salmon.
  • Pat your wild salmon fillets dry using a paper towel. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, arranging the fillets skin-side down with some space between each for even cooking.
  • With a pastry brush, generously coat the top and sides of each salmon fillet with that luscious herb-butter mixture, inviting all those wonderful flavors in.
  • Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake the salmon for 10-12 minutes. The salmon should become opaque and flake easily at an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). If you fancy a little extra color, broil for 8-10 minutes while monitoring closely to avoid burning.
