Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 2 fillets Skinless Salmon 4 to 6 oz each, bring to room temperature
  • 1 tbsp Avocado Oil can substitute with canola oil
  • to taste Salt for seasoning
  • to taste Black Pepper freshly ground

For the Honey Garlic Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Coconut Aminos or Low-Sodium Soy Sauce for umami flavor
  • 2 tsp Honey for sweetness and caramelization
  • 1 clove Garlic minced finely

For the Bowl Base

  • 1/2 cup Cooked Jasmine Rice can substitute other rice varieties

For the Veggies

  • 1 Carrot julienned or thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Baby Spinach for freshness
  • 1 cup Cucumber sliced thin

Optional Toppings

  • to taste Chives for flavor
  • to taste Sesame Seeds for texture

Instructions
 

Making the Honey Garlic Salmon Bowl

  • Cook the jasmine rice according to package directions.
  • Prep the veggies: julienne the carrots, slice the cucumbers, mince the garlic, and set the baby spinach aside.
  • Allow the salmon fillet to reach room temperature.
  • In a small bowl, combine the coconut aminos, honey, and minced garlic.
  • Warm avocado oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then place skin-side up in the pan. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Gently add the honey-garlic sauce over the salmon and toss carefully to coat.
  • Transfer the rice to a bowl, add the salmon on top, and arrange the veggies around it.
  • Drizzle any remaining sauce over the bowl and finish with sesame seeds and chives, if desired.

Notes

Top with sliced avocado for a creamy addition. Consider preparing rice and sauce in advance for quicker assembly.
