Ingredients
  

For the Salad

  • 8 oz tricolor rotini cooked al dente
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup cucumber diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion sliced
  • 1/4 cup black olives sliced
  • 1 cup Cabot sharp cheddar cheese shredded

For the Dressing

  • 3/4 cup Wishbone Robusto Italian dressing

How to Make Summer Pasta Salad

  • Cook the tri-color rotini according to the box instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  • Drain the pasta and run cold water over it until it's no longer hot.
  • Combine in a large bowl, mixing the cooled rotini with tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, olives, cheese, and 3/4 of the Italian dressing.
  • Chill the pasta salad for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Serve by adding in the remaining Italian dressing, mixing gently to combine just before presenting.

Notes

Garnish with fresh basil or parsley for an added burst of flavor.
