Ingredients
  

For the Tea

  • 2 bags Black Tea Use strong varieties for best flavor.
  • 2 cups Hot Water Water temperature should be about 180°F.

For the Boba

  • 1 cup Boba Pearls Substitute with fruit jelly or popping boba if unavailable.
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup Or brown sugar syrup, adjust to taste.

For the Mango Blend

  • 1 cup Frozen Mango Or fresh, requires ice for similar texture.
  • 1 cup Oat Milk Or any plant milk like almond, soy, or coconut.

For Serving

  • 1 cup Crushed Ice Add just before serving to maintain texture.

Preparation

  • Steep the black tea bag in hot water at 180°F for 5 minutes. Let it cool completely; refrigerate if possible.
  • In a pot of boiling water, add the boba pearls. Cook until they float (about 4-5 minutes). Drain and mix with maple syrup.
  • If using frozen mango, thaw at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  • Blend the oat milk and softened mango in a high-speed blender until smooth.
  • In a tall glass, layer the cooked boba pearls with syrup, add crushed ice, pour in the cooled black tea, and top with mango purée. Mix gently.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with a fresh mango slice or mint sprig.
