How to Make Easy Macaroni Salad

  • Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a rolling boil. Cook the macaroni until al dente according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water before setting it aside.
  • While the pasta is cooking, place the eggs in a separate pot and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil, then cook for about 10 minutes. Once done, cool under cold running water and peel them.
  • In a measuring cup or small bowl, whisk together the mayo, white vinegar, Dijon mustard, sugar, celery salt, and freshly cracked pepper.
  • In a large salad bowl, add the cooled macaroni, chopped eggs, pickles, celery, and red onion. Pour the dressing over the top and toss all the ingredients until they are well-coated.
