Ingredients
  

For the Salad

  • 1 pound pasta any shape you love works great, cooked al dente
  • 2 cups refrigerated dill pickles, chopped signature tangy flavor

For the Dressing

  • 1 ⅓ cups mayonnaise creamy base for dressing
  • ½ cup pickle juice adds extra zing
  • ¼ cup fresh dill, chopped boosts herbaceous notes
  • Salt and pepper to taste seasoning key

Preparation

  • Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil, then add 1 pound of pasta. Cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain well and rinse under cold water to cool. Set aside.
  • Whisk the Dressing: In a mixing bowl, combine 1 ⅓ cups of mayonnaise and ½ cup of pickle juice. Whisk until smooth and creamy, and then season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  • Add Dill and Pickles: Gently fold in ¼ cup of chopped fresh dill and 2 cups of chopped dill pickles.
  • Combine with Pasta: Add the cooled pasta to the dressing mixture. Stir gently until every piece of pasta is coated.
  • Refrigerate to Chill: Transfer the pasta salad to a serving bowl and cover it. Let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

This salad is perfect for potlucks and can be made ahead of time. Add fresh dill just before serving for maximum flavor.
