For the Strawberries

  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.

For the Pastry Base

  • 2 tablespoons Butter Substitute with coconut oil for a dairy-free option.
  • 1 cup Kataifi Pastry Ensure it’s shredded and evenly browned.

For the Chocolate Layer

  • 4 ounces Chocolate Dark chocolate can be used for a deeper flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil Alternatively, use more butter.

For the Topping

  • 2 tablespoons Pistachios Substitute with any nut or omit to keep it nut-free.

Preparation

  • Wash the strawberries thoroughly. Slice off the tops and place them in a cup or small bowl.
  • In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the kataifi pastry, stirring frequently until it turns golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl when ready.
  • In another bowl, mix the crispy kataifi with any pistachio cream, blending until evenly combined.
  • Using a double boiler or microwave, melt the chocolate along with the coconut oil until fully smooth and silky.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the prepared strawberries. Top with the kataifi-pistachio mixture and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.

Notes

For an even richer treat, drizzle additional melted chocolate on top. Serve it fresh for the best experience.
