  • 1 lb Wild-Caught Salmon Filet If using frozen, thaw properly.
  • 1 lb Shrimp Peeled and deveined.

For the Sauce

  • 1 cup Coconut Cream Full-fat for richness.
  • 8 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 4 tsp Fresh Ginger Minced.
  • 3 tbsp Honey Raw honey preferred.
  • Cayenne Pepper To taste.
  • Red Pepper Flakes To taste.
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper

For Cooking

  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil For sautéing.
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter For the sauce.

For Garnish

  • 1 cup Cilantro Chopped.

Cooking Instructions

  • Prep Seafood: Peel and devein the shrimp, then cut the salmon into bite-sized chunks.
  • Marinate: Mix minced garlic, ginger, honey, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in separate bowls. Drizzle olive oil on both shrimp and salmon, tossing to coat.
  • Cook Shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and curled, then transfer to a plate.
  • Cook Salmon: In the same skillet, add salmon pieces. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes total. Transfer to the plate with shrimp.
  • Make Sauce: Lower the heat, add butter, and scrape brown bits from the pan. Add remaining marinade, let bubble for 1 minute.
  • Combine: Return shrimp and salmon to skillet, stir in cilantro, pour coconut cream, and simmer for 1-2 minutes until it thickens.
  • Serve: Spoon the mixture into bowls, garnish with cilantro, and enjoy warm!

Notes

This dish is customizable with spice levels and is great as leftovers within three days. Serve with jasmine rice or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
