How to Make Rhubarb Sauce

  • Start by washing the rhubarb stalks thoroughly under cool water. Then, slice them into small, ΒΌ-inch pieces.
  • In a medium-sized saucepan, mix your chopped rhubarb with 1 cup of granulated sugar and a splash of water. Stir everything together.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally and allow the mixture to simmer for about 25-30 minutes.
  • Once cooked, remove the saucepan from the heat. Let the rhubarb sauce cool down to room temperature.
  • Transfer it to an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to one week.
