  • 2 packages active dry yeast ensure freshness
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder use a heaping teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda use a scant teaspoon
  • 2 teaspoons salt essential for flavor

How to Make No-Knead Dinner Rolls

  • Warm the milk mixture: Heat milk with sugar and vegetable oil until warm (90-110°F).
  • Cool the mixture: Let it cool until lukewarm.
  • Combine the flour and yeast: Stir in flour followed by active dry yeast.
  • Add more flour: Gradually mix in another 4 cups of flour.
  • Let rise: Cover and place in a warm spot to rise for about 1 hour.
  • Mix in the dry ingredients: Add additional flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Chill or use: Refrigerate for up to 2 days, or use immediately.
  • Shape the rolls: Pinch off pieces and roll into balls.
  • Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F and bake for about 20 minutes.
  • Optional: Brush with melted butter after baking.
