These Gingerbread Brownies combine deep chocolate flavor with festive spices and molasses. A perfect holiday treat with fudgy texture and warm aroma.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup molasses
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1½ tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground allspice
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 8x8-inch pan with parchment.
Melt butter, whisk in sugar and molasses.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Stir in dry ingredients until combined.
Fold in chocolate chips, pour into pan.
Bake 30–35 mins. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- Use unsulphured molasses for best flavor.
- Store up to 5 days at room temperature.
- Great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
