  • 8 oz Shell Pasta any short pasta works

Cooking Steps

  • Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it into smaller pieces until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • Chop Vegetables: Finely dice the bell pepper and onion for even cooking.
  • Combine Everything: Transfer the cooked beef into the slow cooker. Add the bell pepper, onion, crushed tomatoes, salsa, drained corn, taco seasoning, salt, pepper, and water. Stir until well combined.
  • Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours, or high for 2-3 hours.
  • Add Pasta: Increase heat to high, stir in the shell pasta, and cook for 15-30 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Melt the Cheese: Remove from heat, mix in the cheddar cheese until melted. Serve immediately.
