  • Cream together the softened butter and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  • Mash the bananas with a fork until resembling chunky applesauce and add to the mixture.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then add to the wet mixture.
  • Fold in 3/4 cup of chocolate chips gently.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared bread pan and top with remaining chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow to rest for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
