For the Dip

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/3 cup Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt for lighter option
  • 1/3 cup Sour Cream or additional Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder or fresh garlic
  • 2 Jalapeños seeds removed; roast for extra flavor
  • 1.5 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1.5 cups Monterey Jack Cheese shredded
  • Kosher Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Bacon cooked and chopped; can substitute with turkey bacon

Steps

  • Cook Bacon: Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy. Once done, chop it into small pieces and set aside for later.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, most of the chopped bacon, jalapeños, and 1 cup of each cheese. Season with kosher salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer Mixture: Spoon the mixture into an oven-proof dish, smoothing it out evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cheese, jalapeños, and bacon on top.
  • Bake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes or until it’s golden and bubbly.
  • Serve: Once out of the oven, let it cool slightly before serving warm with tortilla chips, veggie sticks, or toasted baguette slices.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with fresh cilantro or green onions for added color and flavor. Refrigerate any leftovers for up to 3 days.
