  • 1 cup Whole Milk

Baking Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your cake pans.
  • Cream together the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Don't forget the vanilla extract!
  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  • Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, alternating with the whole milk, until just blended.
  • Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans, smoothing the tops with a spatula.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
