  • 4 cups broccoli florets use frozen for convenience, just thaw and drain
  • 6 slices cooked bacon opt for pre-cooked bacon to speed up your prep time
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced leftover or rotisserie chicken
  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese high-quality brands elevate the overall flavor
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese high-quality brands elevate the overall flavor
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing choose your favorite brand for consistency

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning for extra flavor if desired
  • other vegetables bell peppers or mushrooms for customization

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (191°C).
  • If using frozen broccoli, thaw and squeeze out excess water. For fresh broccoli, blanch for 1-2 minutes and then drain.
  • In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, chopped bacon, prepared broccoli, minced garlic, ranch dressing, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese. Stir until well mixed.
  • Spoon the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle any remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese generously on top.
  • Bake the casserole for about 15 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  • Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve warm.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley for added freshness. This casserole can be prepared in advance and refrigerated, increasing the baking time if needed.
