  • 0.5 cup Powdered Sugar save some for rolling post-bake
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract infuses warmth into the cookies
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt enhances sweetness
  • 2 cups White Lily All-Purpose Flour substitute with another soft flour if needed
  • 1 cup Finely Chopped Pecans can substitute with walnuts or other nuts

How to Make Snowball Cookies

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the cool unsalted butter and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and salt until well combined.
  • Gradually add the White Lily All-Purpose Flour, mixing until a thick dough forms.
  • Gently fold in the finely chopped pecans until evenly distributed.
  • Use a tablespoon or cookie scoop to portion the dough, rolling into small balls.
  • Place the cookie balls on the prepared sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, or until bottoms are lightly golden.
  • Allow the cookies to cool for about 5 minutes, then roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
  • Cool completely before rolling in powdered sugar again for a thicker snowy coating.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for longer.

Notes
