  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust based on taste.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

For Sweetness and Texture

  • 1 medium sweet potato Peeled and cubed.
  • 1 medium plantain Sliced into 1/2-inch rounds.

For the Broth

  • 1 cup tomato sauce Hunt's suggested.
  • 4 cups bone broth Kettle & Fire recommended.

Preparation

  • Prep the Ingredients: Start by dicing the onion, mincing the garlic, cubing the sweet potato, and slicing the plantain.
  • Heat the Oil: In a pressure cooker, set it to sauté mode and heat olive oil until shimmering.
  • Sauté Aromatics: Add the diced onion, minced garlic, celery leaves, and bay leaves. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until onions are translucent.
  • Brown the Turkey: Add the ground turkey and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  • Toast the Spices: Stir in the seasonings and toast for about 30 seconds.
  • Combine Vegetables: Toss in the sweet potato cubes and plantain slices.
  • Add Sauces and Broth: Pour in the tomato sauce and bone broth, mixing thoroughly.
  • Incorporate the Garbanzos: Add the drained and rinsed garbanzo beans.
  • Pressure Cook: Close the lid and cook at medium pressure for 15 minutes.
  • Final Touches: Release the pressure, stir the soup, and adjust seasoning.
