Ingredients
  

  • For the Cookie Bars:
  • 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 ½ cups raisins
  • For the Maple Cinnamon Frosting:
  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 –2 tablespoons milk as needed for consistency

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the Cookie Dough
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in oats and raisins.
  • Step 2: Bake the Bars
  • Spread the dough evenly into the baking pan.
  • Bake for 22-25 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
  • Let bars cool completely in the pan.
  • Step 3: Make the Frosting
  • Beat butter and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  • Add maple syrup and cinnamon, mixing until well combined.
  • If needed, add milk to reach a spreadable consistency.
  • Step 4: Frost & Serve
  • Spread frosting evenly over cooled bars.
  • Slice into squares and enjoy!

Notes

Storage: Keep in an airtight container at room temp for 3 days or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
