Old Fashioned Easy Apple Crisp
A cozy, classic dessert with spiced apples and a golden oat topping—just like grandma used to make!

Ingredients
- 6 golden delicious apples
peeled and chopped
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- ¾ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1½ tsp lemon juice
**For the topping:**
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- ¾ cup old-fashioned oats
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of kosher salt
- ½ cup cold unsalted butter

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter an 8×8-inch dish.
In a bowl, toss apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Add to dish.
Mix brown sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
Spread topping over apples.
Bake 40–50 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Let cool slightly and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
- Use any apple variety you love
- To reduce liquid, add 1 Tbsp flour to the apple mixture
- Can be baked ahead and reheated
