Ingredients
  

  • - 1 lb ground sausage
  • - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • - 2 cups biscuit mix
  • - ¼ cup milk
  • - 1 tsp garlic powder
  • - 1 tsp onion powder
  • - ½ tsp black pepper
  • - Optional: chopped herbs for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix sausage and cheddar cheese.
  • Add biscuit mix and stir to combine.
  • Pour in milk and mix until dough forms.
  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  • Roll into 1-inch balls.
  • Place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool slightly, garnish, and serve.

Notes

- Chill dough for 30 mins for better texture
- Store leftovers in fridge up to 3 days
- Freeze baked or unbaked sausage balls up to 2 months
