How to Make Hot Honey Chicken Bowls

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into bite-sized pieces, then distribute them evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel and place them on a second baking sheet without overlapping.
  • Chop the bacon into small pieces and sprinkle it over the chicken.
  • Chop the broccoli into florets and set aside for later use.
  • Drizzle olive oil over both the sweet potatoes and chicken and season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar.
  • Roast both sheets in the oven for about 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, toss the sweet potatoes gently and add the chopped broccoli to the chicken sheet, then roast for another 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  • Plate the chicken, sweet potatoes, and broccoli in bowls, drizzle with hot honey, and sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
