Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich

  • 8 slices white bread thick
  • 1 pound turkey breast meat thick sliced
  • 1 cup mornay sauce creamy and cheese-laden

For the Toppings

  • 1/2 cup Parmigiana Reggiano finely grated
  • 8 slices oven-roasted tomatoes
  • 8 slices bacon cooked crisp

For Garnishing

  • to taste paprika
  • to taste fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your broiler to high heat.
  • Slice two thick slices of bread, about 1 inch thick.
  • Toast the bread until golden brown, then place the square slice in the center of a pan.
  • Layer 4 ounces of thick sliced turkey on top of the toasted square.
  • Pour a generous 1/4 cup of the mornay sauce over the turkey.
  • Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of finely grated parmigiana Reggiano on top.
  • Broil in the oven for 4 to 5 minutes until lightly browned and bubbly.
  • Top with 2 slices of oven-roasted tomatoes and crisscross 2 slices of bacon.
  • Garnish with more parmigiana, paprika, and fresh parsley.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients.
  • Serve the sandwich on a plate or right in the pan.
