Ingredients
  

  • **Dip Base:**
  • - 2 cans 16 oz each refried beans
  • - 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • - 1 cup sour cream
  • - 1 packet taco seasoning
  • - 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • - 1 cup thick salsa
  • - 1 4 oz can diced green chilies, drained
  • **For the Spiderweb:**
  • - ½ cup sour cream for piping
  • - 1 piping or plastic bag
  • - 1 toothpick
  • **Optional Garnish:**
  • - Black olives for edible spiders
  • - Green onions chopped
  • - Plastic spider decorations non-edible
  • - Tortilla chips or veggie sticks

Instructions
 

  • Spread refried beans into a shallow serving dish.
  • Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth. Spread over beans.
  • Add salsa layer, then sprinkle cheese and diced chilies.
  • Fill piping bag with ½ cup sour cream. Pipe circles over the dip.
  • Use a toothpick to drag from the center outwards to form a web.
  • Create an olive spider and place it on the web.
  • Serve immediately or chill until party time.

Notes

- Drain canned ingredients thoroughly.
- Make the web just before serving for crisp lines.
- Serve with scoop-style tortilla chips for best dipping.
