Instructions

How to Make Candied Pecans

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the raw pecan halves, maple syrup, cinnamon, and kosher salt. Heat over medium heat, constantly stirring for about 8 to 10 minutes until the mixture is simmering and the syrup evaporates slightly. Look for a glossy appearance!
  • Carefully spread the candied pecans onto a parchment-lined baking tray, ensuring they are well-separated. Allow them to cool for at least 10 minutes; they will become crunchy as they cool.
  • Once cooled, gently break apart any pecans that may have stuck together. Enjoy them immediately, or store in an airtight container for future snacking!

Notes

Experiment with different nuts or flavors for a unique twist. Keep in an airtight container to maintain crunch.
