- ½ cup salted butter softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 20 caramels unwrapped
- 1 tbsp milk
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and egg white; mix well.
Stir in flour and baking powder until a dough forms.
Roll dough ¼–½ inch thick and cut out rounds.
Bake 6–8 minutes until puffy and not glossy. Cool completely.
Melt caramels with milk. Spoon onto each cookie.
Chill cookies for 10–15 minutes.
Melt chocolate chips and spread over caramel layer.
Let chocolate set before serving.
Store in an airtight container for 4–5 days
