Preparing the Tots

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a light coat of cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of cottage cheese with 1.5 cups of panko breadcrumbs. Mix thoroughly until well-combined.
  • Take about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and form it into a compact tot shape. Place the shaped tots onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they’re spaced evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the tots halfway through.
  • Once baked, let the tots cool briefly before serving.

Notes

These tots are freezer-friendly. Uncooked tots can be frozen and baked directly from frozen, increasing cooking time if needed.
