Instructions
 

  • Place the peeled tomatoes in a large bowl and gently squash them with your hands or a masher until they release their juices, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add approximately 1 teaspoon of salt to enhance the flavor and mix well.
  • Tear the fresh basil leaves by hand and fold them gently into the sauce.

Notes
