How to Make Strawberry-Lemonade Bars

  • Prepare the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, and kosher salt. Stir until fully combined, then press the mixture evenly into a greased baking dish.
  • Bake the Crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the crust for about 20 minutes, or until it turns lightly golden.
  • Make the Filling: In a food processor, blend the strawberries, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, additional granulated sugar, cornstarch, and eggs until smooth and creamy.
  • Bake the Filling: Once the crust is pre-baked, pour the luscious filling over it. Bake for another 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is just set and slightly jiggles in the center.
  • Cool and Chill: Allow the bars to cool completely at room temperature. Chill them in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes
